Iranian Leader Declares: Enemy Fails to Manipulate Public Opinion

In a recent address, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, asserted that adversaries have consistently failed in their attempts to manipulate public opinion in Iran. This statement comes amidst ongoing efforts by foreign entities to undermine the resolve of the Iranian nation.

The remarks were delivered during a gathering in Tehran, where thousands of residents from East Azarbaijan Province assembled to commemorate the anniversary of the 1978 uprising against the Pahlavi regime. The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian.

During his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the concept of “threats through software,” which he described as:

  • Manipulating public opinion
  • Sowing discord
  • Instilling doubt about the fundamental principles of the Islamic Revolution
  • Creating doubt regarding resilience against adversaries

He expressed confidence that, with God’s grace, these efforts have not succeeded in creating doubt among the Iranian populace or diminishing the determination of its youth. “The enemies have failed to achieve their goals,” he stated.

The Leader pointed to the recent nationwide rallies held on the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory as a testament to the unwavering spirit of the Iranian people. He noted that these demonstrations attracted “masses of people, not just the armed forces and officials,” underscoring the collective commitment to the revolution despite prevailing challenges.

“The people face problems, they have expectations—right expectations—but these do not prevent them from defending their revolution,” he remarked, emphasizing the ineffectiveness of external threats in undermining national unity.

In his address, Ayatollah Khamenei urged media owners, writers, scholars, and cultural figures to focus their efforts on countering soft threats posed by adversaries. He affirmed that the Islamic Revolution has established itself as a significant source of hope for nations within the region and beyond, inciting anger among global oppressors and colonizers due to Iran’s resilience.

Furthermore, the Leader addressed hard threats, stating that Iran possesses the capabilities necessary for self-defense, which contributes to a sense of security among its citizens.

He encouraged young Iranians to deepen their understanding of the Islamic Revolution’s principles, which will fortify the nation’s defenses against external pressures. He clarified that the hostility from the United States stems not from slogans like “Death to America,” but from Iran’s successful bid for independence from foreign control.

Ayatollah Khamenei condemned the “bullying statements by the Americans” and their demands for dominance in various regions, highlighting the violent and arrogant nature of global oppressors and the intricate Zionist network.
