Judiciary Chief Strengthens Ties with Chinese Counterpart in Landmark Meeting

Judiciary Chief Qolam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei is currently in China to participate in a significant judicial forum meeting involving member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). During his visit, he emphasized that the West is attempting to impose its self-created narratives on various complex issues affecting the global community.

In his discussions, Mohseni-Ejei highlighted the issue of global challenges such as terrorism and human rights, noting that certain dominant powers often adopt double standards in addressing these issues. He reaffirmed that both nations share a mutual goal of fostering global peace and security. The head of the Iranian judiciary underscored the significance of judicial and legal collaboration between Tehran and Beijing, suggesting that such partnerships could elevate their relations to unprecedented levels.

Mohseni-Ejei arrived in the southern Chinese city of Hangzhou on Monday, leading a high-ranking judicial delegation. He is set to deliver speeches at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the 20th summit of the heads of supreme courts from the nine SCO member countries.
