Hamas Leader Lauds Iran’s Vital Support for Palestinian Cause

In a recent statement, Muhammad Ismail Darwish, the chairman of the Hamas Shura Council, praised Iran’s significant role in supporting the Palestinian people. This acknowledgment comes amidst ongoing tensions and highlights the importance of international alliances in the struggle for Palestinian rights.

Darwish emphasized that the battle of Al-Aqsa Storm marks a pivotal moment for the Palestinian people in their quest to overcome the occupying Israeli regime. He articulated the resilience of the Palestinian people against the ongoing violence, stating:

“The plans and aspirations of the occupying Israeli regime to separate the Palestinian people from their land by launching a criminal war of genocide and in all other forms have not and will not be of any use.”

He further asserted that the Palestinian people remain deeply connected to their land and steadfast in their commitment to their rights, sacred sites, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During this meeting, Iran’s foreign minister reiterated the Islamic Republic’s unwavering support for the Palestinian struggle. He remarked:

“The heroic resistance of the people of Gaza proved the lie of the invincibility of the Israeli army to the whole world.”

In his speech, the foreign minister acknowledged the remarkable efforts of the people of Gaza in executing a unique heroic operation that resulted in a ceasefire and a significant exchange of prisoners.

Additionally, Iran’s foreign minister engaged in discussions with other members of the Hamas Shura Council and the Political Office of the movement in Doha. Prior to this meeting, he also met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Jassim Al Thani, to address:
