Iran Seeks Balanced Global Relations, Says Ambassador to Seoul

Iran is actively pursuing the establishment of balanced relations with all nations, focusing on reducing tensions and enhancing collective security. This commitment was articulated by the country’s envoy to South Korea, Ambassador Saeed Kouzechi, during a significant ceremony held in Seoul.

During the event commemorating the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Kouzechi emphasized Iran’s desire to foster balanced political, economic, and cultural ties globally. He stated:

“Fighting terrorism and opposing the illegal sanctions of the United States of America are among the key elements of… the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

As Iranians celebrated this milestone with nationwide rallies, several key points were highlighted regarding Iran’s foreign policy:

  • Balanced Relations: Establishing equitable ties with all nations.
  • Collective Security: Emphasizing mutual security over individual interests.
  • Countering Terrorism: A commitment to combatting terrorism at all levels.
  • Opposition to Sanctions: Resisting the illegal sanctions imposed by the United States.

The ambassador’s remarks are a clear indication of Iran’s strategic approach towards international relations, aiming for cooperation and stability in a complex geopolitical landscape.
