The upcoming indirect Iran-U.S. talks have experienced a scheduling change, as confirmed by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei. Originally set to take place in Rome on Saturday, May 3, 2025, the discussions have been postponed.

Baqaei highlighted the role of the Omani Foreign Minister in this decision, stating that:

“The postponement of the talks was based on the proposal of the Omani foreign minister, and that information about the next possible date will be provided later.”

In his statement, Baqaei also emphasized Iran’s commitment to diplomacy, noting the following key points:
