The Ministry of Sports and Youth, in partnership with the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, has dedicated a substantial budget to the development of innovative sports technology devices. The launch of this pioneering AI center is anticipated to foster the growth of knowledge-based companies in Iran’s sports sector.

Recent findings from the Oxford Insights index reveal that Iran has made notable strides in its Government AI Readiness, ranking 91st out of 188 countries. This marks an improvement of three positions from its previous rank of 94th in 2023.

AI plays a crucial role in not only managing technological advancements but also enhancing government operations. The Government AI Readiness Index serves as a vital reference for policymakers and is utilized as an official benchmark by various national governments.
