Trump Praises Iran’s ‘Reasonable and Intelligent’ Approach in U.S. Negotiations

According to reports from CNN, Trump stated that the Iranian negotiators have been “talking very intelligently.” He emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue, saying:
“I’m heading to the Middle East soon, and we’ll see how we handle Iran. There are some positive developments there.”
During his comments, Trump reiterated his position regarding Iran’s nuclear capabilities, asserting that:
“They can’t have a nuclear weapon, but I think they’re talking very intelligently. We are in the midst of talking to them, and they’re acting very smart and very intelligent.”
He further added:
“I think they’re being very reasonable thus far.”
This diplomatic engagement marks a shift from Trump’s previous stance, as he withdrew the U.S. from a significant nuclear agreement with Iran during his first term and subsequently imposed stringent economic sanctions.
