Shiraz Showcases Stunning Artworks by Renowned Film Industry Professionals
TEHRAN – The highly anticipated second edition of the group exhibition “Fragments of a Mirror” is set to open at the Sarvenaz Gallery in Shiraz, Fars Province, on April 24. This unique exhibition features visual works from over 20 talented film professionals, showcasing their artistic abilities beyond the realm of cinema.
The inaugural edition of this exhibition took place last December at the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) in Tehran. It provided a platform for various film industry professionals, including actors, directors, cinematographers, and other contributors to the filmmaking process, to present their artwork. According to reports from Honaronline, the event highlighted the creative talents of renowned Iranian cinema figures.
Among the notable participants were celebrated filmmakers such as Abbas Kiarostami, Tahmineh Milani, and Masoud Kimiai. The exhibit also featured prominent actresses like Niki Karimi and Nazanin Bayati, alongside respected actors Hamid Jebeli, Mehdi Pakdel, Reza Kianian, and Farhad Aeesh. Mahta Mohaddes, the curator of “Fragments of a Mirror,” mentioned that this edition has welcomed several new film professionals.
