TEHRAN—The museum activity in the Niavaran Cultural-Historical Complex has resumed, marking a significant step forward after a temporary closure due to security concerns from recent regional developments. Visitors can now explore the complex, including the Koshk-e Ahmad Shahi (Ahmad Shahi Pavilion) and The Automobile Museum of Iran, starting from Saturday, August 9, as reported by IRNA.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, the Niavaran Cultural-Historical Complex initiated its gradual reopening process following the implementation of temporary security measures. This reopening emphasizes the preservation of cultural heritage while ensuring the safety of all visitors.
Shahroud Amir-Entekhabi, the manager of the Niavaran Cultural-Historical Complex, stated that the first phase of reopening commenced with the Niavaran Museum Garden area, which opened to the public on August 3. As part of this gradual reopening, the Koshk-e Ahmad Shahi Pavilion and The Automobile Museum of Iran will also welcome visitors starting Saturday.
Amir-Entekhabi underscored the importance of adhering to all safety regulations during this reopening process. He mentioned that additional sections of the complex will be opened gradually, following expert assessments to confirm safe conditions.
According to the official announcement from the management of the Niavaran Complex, visitors can access the active sections of the complex every day from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a last entry time set for 4:45 PM.
