On Monday, President Masoud Pezeshkian warmly received Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Tehran, marking a significant event in Iran-Pakistan relations.

The welcoming ceremony took place at the Sa’adabad Cultural and Historical Complex, shortly after Prime Minister Sharif’s arrival in Tehran for discussions with senior Iranian officials. This event is pivotal for enhancing diplomatic ties between the two nations.

During the ceremony, both leaders observed a ceremonial unit following the playing of the national anthems of Iran and Pakistan. They also took the opportunity to introduce their high-ranking delegations to one another.

Following the official ceremony, Pezeshkian and Sharif engaged in bilateral talks aimed at strengthening cooperation and addressing mutual concerns.
