In a recent meeting in Tehran, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the potential for enhancing Iran and Uzbekistan relations through their shared cultural and historical ties. This meeting highlights the importance of collaboration between the two nations, underscoring their mutual interests.

During his discussions with Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov, President Pezeshkian stated, “Iran and Uzbekistan are one soul in two bodies and have a lot in common in the historical, cultural, lingual and religious fields.” He further explained that geographical borders have not, and cannot, separate the people of these two countries.
