IRNA CEO Explores Strategic Partnership During Visit to Doha’s Fadaat Media Group

Tehran, IRNA — In a significant development for media cooperation in the region, Hossein Jaberi-Ansari, the CEO of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), recently met with Azmi Bishara, the founder and director of the Qatar-based Fadaat Media Group. This meeting aimed to explore opportunities for joint collaboration while discussing pressing regional issues.

Jaberi-Ansari traveled to Doha to participate in the 4th round of the Iran-Arab World Dialogue summit. During his visit, he had a productive meeting with Bishara on Monday evening.

The discussions covered several key areas, including:

Continuing his series of working meetings, Jaberi-Ansari also engaged with the CEO of Al-Arabi TV Network and the Editor-in-Chief of Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed Newspaper. During these interactions, he gained insights into the operations of various media outlets.

On Saturday, Jaberi-Ansari met with Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani, the founder and chairman of the board of directors of Al Jazeera, to discuss potential cooperation between the two media networks.

Jaberi-Ansari’s visit to Doha commenced on May 10, 2025, and is set to span three days in the Persian Gulf country, focusing on enhancing media collaboration and addressing regional challenges.
