  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Tehran (1989)
  • Second M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Saskatchewan, Canada (1993 and 1997)

He further enhanced his expertise as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan from 1998 to 2002. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Sharif University of Technology and is a member of the Center of Excellence in Power System Control and Management. Additionally, he holds a position as a Visiting Professor at Aalto University in Espoo, Finland.
