Iran made a significant impact at the Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT), held in Istanbul from February 5 to 7. This year, the focus was on showcasing Iran’s tourism potential and cultural heritage, making it an essential event for promoting the country’s diverse attractions.

The event was a vibrant showcase of Iran’s rich heritage, highlighted by traditional cultural performances that captivated attendees. These performances, which included traditional dances from various ethnic groups, were meticulously organized by the Touring & Automobile Club of Iran. According to reports from Mehr, these programs were integral to Iran’s participation in the 28th edition of EMITT, emphasizing the country’s commitment to promoting its cultural richness.

Iran’s presence at EMITT was facilitated by the Touring & Automobile Club, in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts. The pavilion represented a multifaceted approach to tourism and included:

Didehban noted that Iran’s presence in global exhibitions is crucial for highlighting its tourism potential.
