Welcome to the exciting world of theater as we delve into the 30th International Theater Festival for Children and Young Adults, which kicked off in Hamedan on Saturday. This vibrant festival showcases a variety of theatrical performances designed to engage and inspire young audiences.

The festival opened in Imam Khomeini Square, attracting children, families, and esteemed theater artists from across the nation and the province, as reported by Mehr. The opening ceremony was a colorful affair, featuring a lively procession of 120 puppets that paraded through the city’s central square along the Bu-Ali pedestrian path.

This year’s festival promises to be a delightful experience, with a total of 45 theatrical performances scheduled throughout the event. On the very first day, audiences enjoyed six captivating shows, highlighting the festival’s commitment to presenting high-quality entertainment.

Among the numerous productions, attendees can look forward to international contributions from Brazil and Armenia, along with performances from 13 provinces across Iran. With shows hosted in 17 different venues, the festival aims to bring cultural enrichment and entertainment to audiences of all ages.

In a message commemorating the festival, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, expressed his support and congratulations. He conveyed the importance of nurturing the talents of children and adolescents, stating:

“The generation of children and adolescents is the bright mirror of every society’s future and a beacon guiding cultural and human development. Their inquisitive minds, brilliant imagination, and creative spirits carry a profound and hopeful responsibility, fueling the aspiration for a better tomorrow. Salehi further emphasized the significance of the festival, remarking:

The festival’s inspiring slogan, “Today’s Child, New Narratives, Tomorrow’s Stage,”, reflects its vision for a bright future filled with creative storytelling. Salehi noted:
