Soufi elaborated on the purpose of these exhibitions, stating: “This year, we are going to participate in five international exhibitions with the aim of confronting Iranophobia.” He emphasized that one of the primary objectives of TACI is to attract travelers who are eager to explore Iran’s ancient landmarks and heritage.

When asked about the statistics concerning the number of tourists entering Iran with their vehicles, Soufi noted that this information is not readily available to TACI. He explained, “Unfortunately, this information is not available to TACI, and only the Tourism Department or the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) are aware of the statistics.”
Soufi clarified that TACI’s responsibilities are primarily focused on the issuance of transit plates, international driving licenses, and vehicle ownership documentation. “The information on how many tourists have entered the country by car is available to the country’s customs, border terminals, and the Tourism Department. Therefore, the center does not have statistics on the number of cars that have entered the country and those that have left Iran,” he added.
