Art Unites: ‘The Storm Still Rages’ Launches in Caracas, Celebrating Global Solidarity
The vibrant international exhibition titled “The Storm Still Rages” has made its way to Caracas, Venezuela, showcasing a rich tapestry of graphic design works. This significant event is organized by the Office of the Visual Arts Center of Iran’s Art Bureau, in collaboration with the Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Caracas, under the expert curation of Mohammad Saber Sheikh Rezai.
The exhibition features an impressive collection that has captured the attention of a wide audience, including teenagers and young adults, both locally and internationally. The unique feedback from Iranian and foreign artists shared on social media has contributed to the exhibition’s popularity.
Previously, “The Storm Still Rages” received accolades at both the Art Bureau Khaneh Gallery in Tehran and the Bait al-Jamal Center in Baghdad, establishing itself as a notable cultural event. Caracas now proudly serves as the third international venue for this remarkable exhibition.
This collection reflects artists’ responses to various events and the crises imposed by the Zionist occupation regime on Palestine and Lebanon, covering the period from the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation on October 7, 2023, to October 2024.
The exhibition boasts a selection of 182 pieces created by 80 artists from five continents and 25 countries. Among them are:
- 30 artists from Iran
- 50 artists from Palestine
- Contributors from Australia, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Lebanon, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, and Yemen.
Starting from March 25, the exhibition is digitally showcased on the large walls of the National Art Gallery in Caracas, and the display is set to continue for an impressive ten days.
