Araqchi: France Lacks Moral Authority to Lecture Iranians
In recent developments regarding human rights discussions, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has called on France to cease its advisories to Iran, citing a lack of moral credibility in the realm of human rights. Araqchi expressed his views through a post on his official X account on Sunday, stating:
“There have been many transgressions making a mockery of ‘France’s human rights activism.’”
He further elaborated on the hypocrisy he perceives in France’s stance, saying:
“But perhaps nothing has made the hypocrisy as stark as the French approach to the Israeli regime and its war crimes.”
Emphasizing his point, Araqchi added:
“Spare us Iranians the lectures. You have no moral authority whatsoever.”
