Iran’s President Pezeshkian has informed the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development about a new law aimed at enhancing the country’s infrastructure. An 85-member trade delegation from Iran’s private sector is visiting Oman to enhance bilateral trade relations ahead of President Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit. Seyyed Abdolrasoul Mohajer Hejazi, an official at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced Iran’s readiness to assist neighboring countries in establishing independent port organizations at Bandar Abbas during the inauguration of the Tehran-Aprin Dry Port Terminal. He emphasized Iran’s strategic position as a logistics hub for landlocked nations, including Central Asian countries and Russia. Mazandaran province has achieved a significant milestone by exporting over 29,000 tons of fruit, as announced by Asadollah Teymouri Yansari, acting head of the Agriculture Department. On November 29, 616 shipments of kiwifruit, totaling 12,939 tons, were sent abroad, with India being a key market. The exports also included tangerines and oranges, emphasizing the province’s agricultural strength. Teymouri Yansari highlighted the importance of non-oil exports in diversifying Iran’s economy, boosting production, increasing farmers’ incomes, and creating jobs.
