The 24th Tehran Auction, held on Friday, achieved remarkable sales of $1,472,130, featuring 120 artworks from 117 artists. The standout piece was Reza Derakhshani’s “One Golden Winter Hunt,” which sold for a record $154,000. Only six artworks remained unsold, reflecting strong interest in contemporary Iranian art. Notable sales included Masoud Arabshahi’s “Relief” at $138,600 and Kourosh Shishegaran’s “Still Life” at $138,000.
