With over 350 ICRC staff on the ground facing their own hardships, Spoljaric called for immediate action, urging states to uphold international humanitarian law, regulate arms transfers, ensure compliance, and facilitate humanitarian relief. She stressed the need for political courage to protect civilians and restore dignity, advocating for a united international response to the crisis.
