About Royan Institute

The Royan Institute was established in 1991 by the late Dr. Saeid Kazemi Ashtiani along with a group of dedicated researchers and physicians affiliated with the Iran University of Medical Sciences under the Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research (ACECR). The institute began as an outpatient surgery center aimed at providing medical services to infertile couples, alongside fostering research and training in reproductive sciences.

Since its inception, the fields of Reproductive Biomedicine and Stem Cell Biology have flourished, establishing Royan Institute as one of the most successful scientific gatherings in Iran and West Asia since 2000. In 2002, the institute expanded its research focus to include stem cell studies, leading to significant advancements in regenerative medicine and cell therapy.

After three decades, the Royan Institute continues to prioritize increasing the success rates of infertility treatments, alongside enhancing embryo health and public health through clinical services in cell therapy. Throughout its twenty years of active participation in scientific knowledge exchange, the Royan Congress has been instrumental in initiating numerous collaborative projects and fostering scientific exchanges.

In conclusion, the Royan International Twin Congress represents a pivotal opportunity for professionals in the fields of reproductive medicine, stem cell biology, and midwifery to gather, learn, and share innovative insights that can shape the future of healthcare.
