Regular donors constituted 53%, with Semnan, Yazd, and Golestan having the highest rates. The World Health Organization praised Iran’s Blood Transfusion Organization for achieving a 100% voluntary donation system. In the previous year, around 2.36 million Iranians donated blood, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to improving healthcare access.
