Upon returning from China, President Pezeshkian highlighted the significance of his discussions with leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). He emphasized collaboration on key issues like economy, security, and tourism, and advocated for a committee to promote peace among member states. During the summit, about 24 agreements were signed addressing security and counter-terrorism. Pezeshkian engaged in direct dialogues with leaders from Tajikistan, Pakistan, and Russia, and discussed future collaborations with China and Turkey. The summit concluded with a joint statement condemning aggression by Israel and called for justice against unilateralism. Pezeshkian expressed optimism about Iran’s future prospects.
