Global Unity and Peace: Achieving Harmony Through Friendly Relations, Says Pezeshkian

In a recent address, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the significance of enhancing tourism and strengthening connections with friendly and neighboring countries. He believes that global unity and peace can be achieved through mutual visits and positive interactions.

During the inauguration of the 18th International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition in Tehran, Pezeshkian highlighted Iran’s dedication to peaceful coexistence. He stated, “Only in peace and harmony can we truly host and welcome each other.” The president expressed that “anyone visiting Iran is our esteemed guest,” reinforcing the notion of hospitality that is deeply rooted in Iranian culture.

He further criticized the dissemination of false narratives about Iran, urging visitors to experience the country firsthand. “If people come and see for themselves, they will realize that what is said against Iran from certain tribunes is untrue. Iran has a friendly, loving, and humane people. Every corner of Iran is full of friendliness and harmony, and Iranian hospitality is exemplary,” he remarked.

Iran’s Stance on Peace and Neighborly Relations

Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s ambition to develop its tourism economy, stating that the country is rich in civilization, art, and culture. He emphasized the need for the right infrastructure to enhance tourism, asserting, “We can present Iran as it truly is and provide a more accurate perception of our country.”

The 18th International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition is taking place from February 11 to 14 at the Tehran International Exhibition Center. Representatives from 12 countries are participating, including:
