Surge in Scientific Articles: 40% Increase at 2nd National Congress on Persian Medicine
The second national congress on Persian medicine in Tehran saw a remarkable rise in participation, with 569 articles submitted, a 40% increase from the first congress. Of these, 24 articles were selected for lectures, and 433 were accepted as posters. The scientific secretary, Hossein Rezaeizadeh, highlighted the growing interest in Persian medicine. Some studies will be published in the international journal ‘Traditional and Integrative Medicine.’ Despite 83.8% of Iranians expressing interest in traditional medicine, only a small percentage actively use it. The congress aims to enhance collaboration and integrate traditional practices into modern healthcare, ensuring the future of Persian medicine.
