Spectacular Israeli Air Show Highlights Growing Discontent and Frustration

In a stirring demonstration of solidarity, hundreds of thousands of supporters gathered in Beirut and beyond to pay tribute to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, a revered leader known for his unwavering dedication to resistance. Despite the intimidation tactics employed by the Israeli regime, including the deployment of US-made warplanes over Beirut, the crowd’s response resonated loudly: “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Such scenes encapsulate the deep-rooted sentiments of those united under Nasrallah’s leadership.

The atmosphere was electric, reminiscent of the powerful words spoken by the late martyr, Sayyed Nasrallah: “We are the sons of the one who said, ‘Do you threaten me with death, O son of the freedmen? Death is a habit for us, and our dignity from God is martyrdom.’”

On February 23, the Israeli forces faced a stark realization of their failure to deter the masses from honoring Nasrallah. Despite efforts from the American embassy in Beirut to dissuade participation through propaganda, the turnout remained significant. The reactions from Israeli spokesperson Avichay Adraee on social media highlighted the depth of their disappointment.

Martyr Sayyed Nasrallah, much like his esteemed mentors, Martyr Sayyed Mohammad Baqir al-Sadr and Imam Khomeini, was a philosopher of unparalleled wisdom. In the wake of his passing, many reflect on their aspirations to meet him, recognizing that his spirit continues to guide and inspire.

As I embarked on my journey to Beirut to attend the funeral, unforeseen challenges arose. The Jezzine-Sidon-Beirut route was obstructed by a snowstorm, forcing me to take a longer path through Rashaya-Khiyam-Nabatieh. This detour, however, felt divinely orchestrated, as I was reminded of the resilience of the resistance fighters who had previously triumphed over adversity. I was also blessed with a view of Palestine, a poignant reminder of our collective struggle.

The Legacy of Sacrifice

Growing up in a humble household, our family’s most prized possessions were a portrait of Imam Khomeini and his books. My family’s commitment to the resistance was evident, with a relative martyred by the Lebanese Forces in 1986 during an operation against the Zionists. My grandfather faced imprisonment for his role in supporting the resistance, while my aunt was assassinated for her contributions to the fighters.

Despite the destruction brought upon them by Israeli forces, my family remained steadfast. They understood the gravity of their sacrifices for the righteous cause of resistance. The Israeli regime’s brutality was a constant threat, yet they never faltered in their commitment. My wounded cousin ventured into Khiyam, fully aware of the risks, driven by the conviction that he would return only as a martyr.

  • We are the protectors of blood!
  • We embody the spirit of sacrifice!
  • We will uphold our covenant and resist US dominance.

Our resilience is unwavering, and our faith in our cause remains unshaken despite the adversities we face. The misguided individuals at the US embassy in Beirut fail to grasp the essence of our beliefs, mistakenly attributing our convictions to external influences. They are oblivious to the profound understanding that drives our commitment.

While Sayyed Nasrallah holds a revered position in our hearts, our faith transcends individual leaders. We are guided by a greater force—the twelfth Imam of the Shiites, Imam Mahdi (AS). Just as Sayyed Nasrallah prepared the path for Imam Mahdi’s anticipated return to aid the oppressed, we too are committed soldiers in this sacred mission.

We will persevere in our struggle, even in the face of hunger, poverty, and siege. Our trust in God will remain firm. As Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Revolution, stated: “The spirit and approach of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah are the light of the path of freedom seekers.”

In conclusion, the legacy of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah continues to inspire generations. As we honor his memory and uphold the values he stood for, we affirm our commitment to the resistance and the quest for justice. Our resolve remains strong, and together, we march forward in the face of any challenge.
