This year, the organization delivered essential healthcare services to 2,739 foreign nationals who were visiting the country during this festive period. According to reports from ISNA, the Nowruz healthcare program achieved remarkable milestones, including:

  • Over 74,000 surgical operations performed.
  • 57 organ transplantations successfully conducted.
  • 269,000 screening tests carried out to ensure public health and safety.

In addition to healthcare services, ensuring road safety was a top priority during the Nowruz holidays. A well-coordinated traffic management plan was implemented to mitigate the risks associated with increased travel during this festive season. Approximately 22,000 traffic police officers and 3,000 unmarked police officers were deployed across the country to maintain order and promote safety on the roads.

The authorities focused on areas where traffic accidents are most prevalent, recognizing that about 70 percent of car accidents occur within 30 kilometers of urban centers.
