Araqchi shared insights on his X account, stating, “We, together with the Omani and American sides, decided to postpone the fourth round of negotiations for logistical and technical reasons.” He reassured that there has been no shift in Iran’s resolve, saying, “Indeed, we are more determined than ever to reach a fair and balanced agreement: one that ensures the end of sanctions and builds confidence that Iran’s nuclear program will remain peaceful forever, while ensuring that Iran’s rights are fully respected.”

Earlier on the same day, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei announced the rescheduling of the upcoming indirect Iran-U.S. talks, originally set to take place in Rome on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Key points regarding this announcement include:
