Iranian Commander Claims Gaza War Signals Start of Zionist Crisis

In a significant development regarding the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, has emphasized that the 15-month war has ushered in a new era for the Zionist regime and has strengthened the position of Islam and the Axis of Resistance.

Bagheri made these statements during a meeting with diplomats and staff at the Iranian embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Monday. This meeting took place just a day after a ceasefire was initiated, halting the relentless Israeli assaults on the beleaguered Palestinian territory.

According to the Iranian commander, the events of the past 15 months represent a pivotal moment not only for West Asia but also for the Islamic world and the Resistance Front. He noted that:

  • Human and material losses incurred during this period have been painful.
  • The Zionist regime has been pushed to the brink despite external support from powerful nations.
  • The ceasefire signifies the diminishing power of the Israeli regime and its global allies.

Bagheri also highlighted that the ceasefire indicates a significant shift, stating that it demonstrates the decline of Israeli dominance. He remarked that the agreement was essentially imposed on the Zionist regime, which had to concede to the terms. He added that various US and European officials have acknowledged in discussions with regional leaders that without their backing, the collapse of the regime is inevitable.

Major General Bagheri arrived in Islamabad on Sunday evening and is scheduled to hold meetings with senior state and military officials later today.
