Iran and Thailand Celebrate 70 Years of Diplomatic Relations by Strengthening Bilateral Ties

On Friday, Mohammad-Reza Bahrami, the Director General for South Asia at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, engaged in talks with Eksiri Pintaruchi, the Permanent Secretary of Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Iran and Thailand.
The discussions centered around several key areas aimed at boosting cooperation:
- Political Cooperation: Both sides emphasized the need for increased political consultations.
- Bilateral Cooperation: Strengthening collaboration in various sectors was a priority.
- Joint Programs: Implementation of joint initiatives was also highlighted.
During the meeting, the Thai diplomat expressed appreciation for Iran’s efforts in securing the release of Thai prisoners in Gaza. She noted her country’s political will to enhance cooperation with Iran across multiple sectors.
