In a significant development for the telecommunications sector, Iranian and Omani companies have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at enhancing data transmission between the two nations. This collaboration, marked by the signing of the MOU by Pishgaman Company from Iran and Omantel from Oman, took place during the Iran Corridor 2025 event in Dubai on February 3, as reported by Mehr news agency.

The primary goal of this MOU is to establish robust data transit corridors connecting the northern and southern routes. This initiative is a crucial step towards positioning Iran as a regional hub for data transmission.
