In a bid to enhance ecotourism in Iran, consul-generals from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Afghanistan visited Chenaran county in Khorasan Razavi province, highlighting the area’s historical sites, including the Radkan Historical Tower. Mohammad Taherian-Muqaddam, head of the local Cultural Heritage Department, noted the tower’s uniqueness and emphasized the visit’s importance in attracting foreign tourists. Chenaran, with its rich history, proximity to Mashhad, and opportunities for outdoor activities, has 12 accommodations for over 500 guests. As international interest grows, ongoing restoration projects aim to preserve local heritage, positioning Chenaran as a significant destination in Iran’s tourism landscape.
