Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, during his visit to Indonesia for the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Member States (PUIC), urged Muslim countries to unite against global challenges and advocate for justice in Gaza. Addressing worshippers at Jakarta’s Istiqlal Mosque, he highlighted the dire humanitarian crisis, marked by airstrikes, food shortages, and a lack of medical supplies. Qalibaf called on Islamic nations to stand together against oppression and prevent what he described as the largest genocide in history. The conference, focusing on governance and resilience, includes delegates from 38 Islamic nations.
