UNICEF Delivers Life-Saving PCV and Pentavalent Vaccines to Protect Iran’s Children
UNICEF’s recent vaccine deliveries to Iran mark a crucial advancement in child health, aiming to immunize approximately 1.5 million children against severe diseases. The shipment on July 30, 2025, included 200,250 vials of the Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) and followed earlier deliveries of PCV and the Rotavirus vaccine. The Pentavalent vaccine, which protects against five serious diseases, also arrived, enhancing immunization efforts.
