The initiative targets improving nutrition literacy, particularly in rural areas, where malnutrition and diet-related diseases are prevalent. Approximately 350 nutrition experts will begin working in these communities by March 2025 to enhance knowledge and health. IRCS Sends Urgent Relief Supplies to Flood-Stricken Pakistan: A Lifeline for Affected Communities
The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has dispatched a 60-ton relief shipment to assist flood victims in Pakistan, which includes blankets, rice, tea, and clothing. This aid follows devastating floods that have claimed over 1,000 lives and affected millions since June. The IRCS has also offered to send medical and rescue teams to further assist if needed.
