Iran Shaken by 125 Earthquakes in Just One Week: What You Need to Know
Iran has seen a surge in seismic activity, recording 123 earthquakes from June 19 to July 25, according to the University of Tehran’s seismological networks. The events included 110 minor quakes, 11 moderate, and a significant 5.1 magnitude quake in Semnan province on June 20. The ARWU evaluates over 2,500 universities based on objective indicators. Additionally, the Webometrics ranking identifies 64 Iranian medical universities, with notable improvements in several. In the QS World University Rankings, nine Iranian universities are recognized, maintaining their previous count, while the Round University Ranking acknowledges 36 Iranian universities, an increase from 32.
