According to Omid Hajati, a representative from the Department of Environment (DOE), “Given the increasing importance of environmental protection and the necessity for awareness of the laws and regulations in this field, the Department of Environment has designed and prepared a bilingual artificial intelligence platform for environmental laws and regulations for the first time in the country.” This initiative reflects a commitment to fostering a deeper understanding of environmental regulations among the public and specialists alike.

This pioneering platform utilizes advanced artificial intelligence technologies paired with automatic updating capabilities, enabling users to:

Hajati emphasized that users can easily access the full text of environmental laws, regulations, circulars, and approvals as needed. In addition to this groundbreaking development, the first national congress on artificial intelligence in agriculture, natural resources, and the environment took place on September 4–5 in Shiraz, Fars Province.
