After being recognized for his talents at a young age, he excelled in linguistic studies and graduated as a medical doctor in 1990. Hashemi further pursued his cinematic aspirations by studying film production at Vancouver Film School. He is a member of the Iranian Medical Council and has directed and written several short films during his educational journey. His contributions to journalism include writing for Picture World Magazine since 1998, and he received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024 for his critical work in cinema.

Bijan Tehrani is a distinguished film historian and critic whose career spans over 46 years. As the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Cinema Without Borders, he has dedicated his efforts to promoting international cinema. He has also co-founded Cinema B.M., a Farsi-language publication in Iran. Tehrani directs the International Animation Day Festival and presents awards at various international film festivals, highlighting his commitment to global cinema. Currently, he is researching thematic parallels between the works of acclaimed directors Asghar Farhadi and Rodrigo García.

Mo Abdi has been a prominent film critic for over three decades, with 15 published books and thousands of articles to his name. His significant contributions include “Film Criticism in Iran,” which details the history of film analysis in the country. Abdi has also published short story collections and documentaries, showcasing his multifaceted talent in storytelling through various mediums.

Mansour Jahani is a graduate of Media University and holds a degree in film studies from The National Film School. He has participated in cinema directing courses and is actively involved in numerous journalism and film organizations. His journalism awards, including recognition from the Göteborg Art Association, reflect his dedication and expertise in the field. Jahani has served as a judge at the Cannes Film Festival and covered several prestigious international film festivals.
