The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) is enhancing its humanitarian efforts through collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). IRCS’s Razieh Alishvandi and ICRC’s Vincent Cassard discussed strategies to improve emergency preparedness and humanitarian responses. They emphasized the importance of joint projects, training workshops, and continuous funding, particularly in vulnerable provinces. Initiatives will focus on mine awareness, rehabilitation services, and primary health care. The organizations are committed to fostering community resilience and improving service standards through collaborative efforts, with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation to restore dignity and independence to those in need across Iran.
