The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) has strongly condemned Israel’s military campaign against Palestinians, particularly in Gaza, calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire. Iranian envoy Zahra Ershadi highlighted the potential for genocide in the region and urged the international community to act decisively. NAM supports South Africa’s legal action against Israel at the International Court of Justice for alleged genocidal violations. Ershadi criticized Israel’s actions as violations of international law and called for global solidarity. NAM is committed to providing humanitarian aid and advocating for the rights of Palestinians, emphasizing the need for ending the occupation and achieving lasting justice.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry recently highlighted the commitment of Pakistan and Iran to regional peace and stability, emphasizing strengthened strategic relations and economic cooperation. During a meeting in Islamabad, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed key collaboration areas, including bilateral relations, trade, energy, and communications. Dar underscored the historical and cultural ties between the nations and praised positive developments in their relationship. Both parties acknowledged the need for expanded cooperation in various sectors and reaffirmed their dedication to mutual understanding and peace in the region.
Iran’s commitment to peace is highlighted by its indirect talks with the United States, as stated by President Masoud Pezeshkian.
