Hossein Jaberi Ansari, managing director of IRNA, paid tribute to Hezbollah’s late leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, recognizing him as a pivotal figure in contemporary history. At Nasrallah’s emotional funeral in Beirut, attended by hundreds of thousands, Jaberi Ansari highlighted Nasrallah’s significant impact on the region, stating that history can be divided into the era before and after his leadership. He described Nasrallah as a powerful orator and charismatic leader, emphasizing Hezbollah’s political and social roles. Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah for over three decades, died in an Israeli airstrike on September 27, 2024, and will be buried in Burj al-Barajneh.
