Iran’s Resilience: President Pezeshkian Confident in Overcoming Challenges

In a recent address, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the resilience of the Islamic Republic amid ongoing indirect Iran-U.S. talks. He expressed confidence that Iran is capable of navigating challenges, even without negotiations aimed at lifting the current sanctions.

During a ceremony celebrating the founding anniversary of the Islamic Azad University, Pezeshkian stated, “It’s not like we will die of hunger if they [Americans] do not want to negotiate with us and sanction us.” He highlighted the potential solutions available to the nation, asserting, “There are hundreds of ways to overcome the problems,” and urged unity among the people.

He further declared that the Islamic Republic is stronger than ever, noting the ongoing discussions about a potential U.S.-Iran deal. However, he stressed that the primary concern should be national cohesion and avoiding division. “We will not need anyone if we reach an agreement with our people and elites,” he remarked.

Pezeshkian also praised the contributions of the nation’s elites and scientists, advocating for universities to cultivate a sense of patriotism among graduates. He stated, “University graduates must know that Iranians are no less than anyone.”

In conclusion, the president expressed gratitude toward academics and emphasized the importance of building a prosperous Iran, where “money and capital are produced and developed.” By focusing on education and unity, Pezeshkian believes the nation can overcome its challenges and thrive.
