Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi Warns: Swift Retaliation for Any Attacks Ahead!

In a recent statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi emphasized that Iran will take decisive actions to safeguard its interests and citizens against any threats. His comments came amid rising tensions due to ongoing threats from Israel.

Araqchi shared his insights on his X account on Thursday, highlighting the seriousness of the situation. He remarked:

“Threats from the rogue Israeli regime are nothing new. But the recent leak citing US officials as divulging Israeli plans for an unlawful attack on Iran and its nuclear facilities is alarming and warrants immediate and serious condemnation from the UN Security Council and the [International Atomic Energy Agency] (I.A.E.A.)”

In his letter to U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and I.A.E.A. chief Rafael Grossi, Araqchi underscored the urgency of addressing these threats. He stated:

“I have called on the international community to take effective preventive measures against the continuation of Israeli threats, which if unchecked, will compel Iran to take special measures in defense of our nuclear facilities and materials.”

Araqchi described his letter as “a serious pre-action warning,” emphasizing that:

“The nature, content, and extent of our actions will correspond and be proportionate to preventive measures taken by these international bodies in accordance with their statutory duties and obligations.”

Additionally, Araqchi criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, labeling him as “the Wanted War Criminal” and accused him of attempting to hinder diplomatic efforts while diverting attention from his legal troubles with the International Criminal Court.

He concluded his statement with a strong resolve:

“The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to forcefully respond to any transgression and will stop at nothing to protect its interests and people.”

In summary, Araqchi’s remarks reflect Iran’s commitment to defending its national security amidst escalating tensions in the region. The international community’s response to these threats will be crucial in determining the future dynamics of Iranian-Israeli relations.
