Iran’s Triumphs Leave Adversaries Disheartened, Says President Pezeshkian

In a recent address, President Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted the resilience and strength of the Iranian people amidst ongoing challenges. The president emphasized that adversaries of the Islamic Republic of Iran aim to promote a narrative of weakness and division, yet the progress made by Iranians in various sectors continues to thwart their efforts.

Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the second anniversary of the Iranian Navy’s 86th flotilla returning to Bandar Abbas after its historic round-the-world journey, President Pezeshkian praised the nation’s achievements in manufacturing defense and military equipment independently, calling this vision “commendable.”

The Iranian Armed Forces received accolades from the president for their unwavering support during difficult times. He stated that:

  • The wisdom of the Leader will guide the nation toward progress.
  • The administration is committed to fostering development, enhancing national cohesion, and expanding cooperation with regional states.

In response to recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to the Persian Gulf states, Pezeshkian remarked that only Trump believes in his anti-Iran rhetoric. He described Trump as someone who speaks of peace while simultaneously threatening to utilize advanced weapons of mass destruction, creating a contradictory message of peace and violence.

Pezeshkian reaffirmed that Iran does not seek war. While the nation is open to negotiations, Iranians will not be intimidated by threats and will steadfastly uphold their legal rights. He dismissed U.S. claims against Iran, asserting that:

  • The Islamic Republic is viewed as a source of insecurity solely because it refuses to submit to bullying tactics.
  • Iran will not relinquish its legitimate rights, maintaining its military, academic, scientific, and nuclear achievements.

Furthermore, President Pezeshkian criticized those who profess to support human rights while remaining silent about the suffering of nearly 60,000 defenseless Palestinians due to the actions of the Israeli regime. He stated that they should refrain from discussing peace and human rights after the genocide of innocent individuals.
