Vice President Celebrates Strong Ties: Iran and Tajikistan Recognized as Second Homes for Their Nations
In a recent meeting, Iranian officials emphasized the strong ties between Iran and Tajikistan, highlighting their shared cultural and linguistic heritage. First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref noted that both nations consider each other as “brotherly countries,” paving the way for enhanced bilateral relations.
Aref’s remarks came during a conversation with Tajikistan’s Energy and Water Resources Minister Daler Juma in Tehran on Wednesday. He expressed the sentiment that, “Iran is your second home and Tajikistan is our second home.” This statement underscores the mutual respect and friendship between the two nations.

Additionally, he conveyed an invitation from the Prime Minister of Tajikistan for Aref to visit Tajikistan, expressing hope that this visit would mark a new chapter in the development of friendly relations between the two nations.
