In a recent announcement, the Civil Registration Organization revealed significant statistics regarding births in Iran for the past Iranian calendar year, which spanned from March 2024 to March 2025. In November 2023, Saber Jabbari, an official with the Ministry of Health, emphasized that the total fertility rate should increase from the current rate of 1.66 to 2.5 before the demographic window closes in the next five years.
