TEHRAN – Iran is gearing up to host an exciting international tour operators forum from tomorrow until May 2. This event promises to be a remarkable gathering, with over 100 tour operators from 33 countries set to attend. According to Moslem Shojaei, the director-general for marketing and tourism development at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, this forum represents a significant opportunity to showcase Iran as a safe and appealing travel destination.

Shojaei also mentioned the signing of a memorandum of understanding with UN Tourism to host an international urban tourism summit in Tehran. This partnership is expected to further elevate Iran’s standing in the global tourism landscape.

To enhance its global image, Shojaei discussed plans to leverage influencer marketing effectively. Utilizing interactive content, media coverage, and digital platforms will help build trust and promote Iran on an international scale.

Looking to the future, Shojaei outlined Iran’s ambitious plans to participate in ten international tourism exhibitions and organize five tourism roadshows in cities such as:
