In the context of a shifting global landscape, Tehran-Moscow cooperation is becoming increasingly pivotal as highlighted by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s economic adviser, Anton Kobyakov. This growing partnership underscores the transition from a unipolar to a multipolar world order.

Kobyakov made these insightful remarks during a recent meeting with Iranian Ambassador Kazem Jalali in Moscow, where they assessed bilateral relations. Here are some key points from their discussion:

Jalali also expressed Iran’s commitment to enhancing trade relations with Russia and urged for greater participation in specialized exhibitions organized by both countries.

The meeting coincided with the presence of several Iranian delegations in Moscow, including representatives from the 18th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission. This commission is co-chaired by the Iranian Minister of Petroleum and the Russian Minister of Energy, representing their respective nations.

Prior to the joint commission, Ambassador Jalali met with Meysam Abedi, the deputy ICT minister for technology and innovation. Abedi highlighted the purpose of his visit, which focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including:
