Iran Secures Pot 2 Spot in U-20 WAC Qualifiers: Aiming for Glory!

The journey towards continental glory is set to begin for the emerging stars of Asian football with the official draw ceremony for the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers. This exciting event will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Monday, marking a significant milestone in the development of women’s football in Asia.

Originally established as a U-19 competition, the tournament transitioned to a U-20 format in 2022. This year, a total of 33 teams will compete from August 2 to 10 for the chance to secure one of the 11 available spots in the finals, joining host nation Thailand. The competition will feature teams divided into eight groups, consisting of seven groups of four teams and one group of five. Matches will be held at eight centralized venues across several Asian countries, including:
